Meredith has been invaluable in helping us with our newborn twins. My husband and I are first time parents and knew very little about babycare when we first came home from the hospital. Meredith was there and implemented a feeding/sleeping schedule and showed us what we needed to do from day one, which made the experience more relaxing and enjoyable. Learning from her also made us more confident and capable parents. She's very professional and knowledgable about infants and advised us on a wide range of issues including sleep training, feeding problems such as acid reflex, breastfeeding and ways to soothe our babies. We really enjoyed and appreciated her six weeks with us and would highly recommend her to new parents, especially if you are expecting multiples!

To Whom It May Concern:

Meredith Ball served as a baby nurse for our twin daughters for three weeks. She arrived when they were three weeks old and was invaluable in helping us understand out babies’ evolving needs and how we could best meet them.

I appreciated the excellent care she gave them at night (she worked nights for us) – helping them get on the right track and giving us a bit of a rest- but especially the many conversations I had with her in which we discussed how I could continue their positive sleeping and eating trajectory. She were truly a “thought partner” in figuring out what my girls needed and how I could help each of them; we discussed the girls’ different personalities and soothing needs, as well as nursing and reflux issues. She mapped out a workable schedule for us and helped us think about how we could adapt it as the girls develop. She offered us myriad useful suggestions for making many aspects of caring for twins (bottle prep, feeding, bathing, etc.) much more efficient and manageable. She also spent time with our nanny and helped her understand and adopt out philosophy with regard to caring for our daughters (keeping them on a schedule, having them sleep in their cribs in their room, etc.)

Meredith was thoroughly professional – in addition to caring for our girls, she was industrious in taking care of all their clothes and supplies – recommending a different brand of bottles to help with reflux, organizing their closet one night (no mean feat), and so forth.

She was always helpful and kind and immediately responsive to any request or question we had, and an absolute pleasure to have in our home. I enjoyed her company and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a baby nurse – she was truly a cut above.

Sincerely,

Our experience with Meredith was wonderful. She truly is an expert with newborn multiples. Her skill, knowledge, and organization made our twins' transition from hospital to home very easy. We quickly developed complete trust in Meredith's care and this allowed us to rest easy at night. The rest definitely helped Mom's recovery and also allowed us to spend valuable time with our five-year old. Meredith's time with us was the first step in getting our twins on a good schedule. Even as experienced parents we learned a lot from Meredith, which has helped tremendously with these first few months. We joke that these first months with our twins have been easier than with our first son. Meredith was a big part of that. We would highly recommend Meredith to anyone having multiples!! It was one of the best decisions we made in our preparation for our twins!

One of the toughest decisions my husband and I had to make was selecting someone to care for our first-born child when I went back to work. After having much difficulty becoming pregnant again with our second (delivered via C-Section), we discussed whether to hire a baby nurse to help us through the first few weeks. Enter Meredith. I enjoyed our initial meeting and had a good feeling. We carefully checked her references and discovered others had great experiences with her. More than helping us through those first few difficult weeks with patience and an unassuming way, Meredith lent advice that we did not learn with our first child. Most importantly, she has become part of our family. In fact, we have sought her assistance several times since her initial stay with us. Meredith assessed our family needs and met each and every one immediately. Nursing was not an easy process for me and Meredith not only helped guide me through those difficult days with sound advice but also provided warm support and an open ear to all of my complaints! Beyond her advice, Meredith took extra time to provide me with research, books and videos to help alleviate my confusion and anxiety about nursing. Meredith got all of us on a sensible schedule and within a week my daughter was sleeping through the night (really) and still does! My 3 ˝ year old daughter asks every week when we will see Meredith. We all miss her and are so grateful that she has become a part of our lives. We give Meredith the highest recommendation to any family considering new-born assistance.

Meredith is the best! As we've said many times, having Meredith with us during those first weeks was the best thing we did to help us learn to care for and most importantly, to enjoy our new babies. Before our twins were born, we had no idea what a baby nurse did or what a difference it would make to our family but after consulting with Meredith by phone and email, we were sure that she would be a great fit with us and she did in fact exceed our expectations in every way!

We are first time parents with twins that arrived a month early and were in the NICU for two weeks. Meredith came to us when the babies were home and with great skill and competence managed everything - from setting up the crib in the nursery and buying preemie clothes to teaching us how to formula feed two babies and showing us how to confidently get two babies around the city in a double stroller. Her help was especially invaluable during the initial homecoming period and being able to sleep through the night was priceless.

Meredith is an extremely gifted caretaker and service provider with an extensive amount of hands-on experience for someone early in her career. She makes sure that the families she works with are well prepared and comfortable in following her example in caring for multiples - we learned a lot from her and continue to feel her influence in all aspects of our twins' daily schedule to this day. As a person, Meredith is just wonderful. She has strong family values, is conscientious and organized, knowledgeable, talented, flexible with our family routine, supportive of questions and concerns, and in general great to have in our home. We were very fortunate to have had her with us and so pleased to know her. She absolutely eased the first weeks with our twins!

To Whom It May Concern,

Meredith Ball came to our home when our twins, born at 30 weeks, came home from the NICU. We were not first time parents but having premature twins was a whole new world. I am not sure I can explain how much she helped our family. One of the biggest areas she helped us in was organization. She organized the nursery and made sure we had everything we would need to make life with twins easier. She also gave us so much helpful advice on feeding two babies. One of our biggest worries was how we would get two babies on a schedule and how we would feed two at once. Meredith had the experience and knowledge to teach us how to accomplish both.

What makes Meredith so special is her experience and knowledge with multiples which is only surpassed by her loving, caring demeanor. She is amazing with babies and truly cares about the family. We are so grateful for everything she has done for us.

To Whom It May Concern:

Meredith Ball served as our Baby Nurse for our twin boys from birth until they were seven weeks old. Meredith lived with us during this time and provided twenty-four hour care for our infant boys.

Meredith is an extremely knowledgeable and skilled baby nurse and a very energetic and organized caregiver. Meredith arrived at our home a few days after our sons were born and immediately put my husband and me, who were first time parents, at ease with respect to the various responsibilities and aspects of new parenthood.

Meredith organized our nursery and established an eating and sleeping schedule for our boys within a few days of her arrival. Meredith provided excellent care of our babies and educated my husband and me on all aspects of childcare from feeding tips to developmental stages and skills.

Meredith is nurturing and responsible person with a strong, and often tireless, work ethic. She is very trustworthy and conscientious individual and we enjoyed the pleasure of her company during her stay with us. My husband and I would strongly recommend Meredith for any child care position.

Dear Sir or Madam:

We have had the pleasure of having Meredith Ball of Babiease at our home. We hired Meredith by reference from our friend who had triplets at their home. We have a 2 year old boy and now our twins, so Babiease was a great help.

Meredith was more than we expected. She was very accommodating, neat, and pleasant to be with. Most of all she is knowledgeable and professional. She taught us many things to get us through the first stages. It’s sad to let her go; we wish she could stay longer.

We would highly recommend her to any family. She provides an outstanding service and knowledge. She fit right into our household and got along well with out Nannies. Meredith is a delight to have around. We are planning on having her come back in 3 months.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Dear expecting parent,

Meredith Ball was our baby nurse for our twin daughters for 4 weeks and it is with great delight that I write a letterof reference for her.

Initially I was hesitant to hire a baby nurse but I realized soon after my delivery just how lucky I was! Meredith’s experience with not just babies but multiples paved the way for a smooth transition for our family. Her guidance is better than any book I’ve read and any advice from family, friends and even nurses that I have ever heard. Her style is practical, realistic, and functional and founded in ongoing study, research, and fellowship.

Meredith is extremely organized, reliable, motivated, an excellent problem solver, has terrific follow through, willing to do almost anything and quick to volunteer to help. She is one of the hardest working people I have ever known. Further, Meredith is a leader in the field of multiples baby nursing, always eager to exude professionalism and a commitment to ongoing education.

As an administrator of a high-tech, pediatric homecare company, I am especially impressed by Meredith and am happy to discuss this further by email or telephone.

Very truly yours,

To whom it may concern:

I employed Meredith Ball as a babynurse for my twin girls for approximately one month (February-March 2005) and would highly recommend her to any family expecting multiples. She was calm, caring, organized, and knowledgeable. She was a fantastic resource for information on everything from feeding issues to play time. Meredith got the girls on a schedule, taught me the ropes, and showed me that I could do it. She made handling newborn twins look like a piece of cake, giving me the confidence I needed. I simply do not know what I would have done without her help those first weeks.

If you are expecting multiples, I can't recommend her highly enough!

To whom it may concern:

I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to Meredith Ball for her outstanding and professional work as a baby nurse for my premature twins born at 26 weeks.

Meredith came to my home and completely took away all of my stress and concerns. She taught me how to care for my children by giving me advice on feed and sleep schedules. She organized my nursery, shopped and purchased appropriate toys and clothing for my babies and set up an amazing play area in my family room.

Meredith is a special individual and there is absolutely no one else like her. She is simply a wonderful and loving person.

I know that Meredith will always be part of our lives and I thank her for all she has done for me.

To whom this may concern:

My husband and I hired baby nurse Meredith Ball to help our daughter after the birth of her triplets on January 7, 2005

Meredith arrived when the babies were 5 days old and they were still in the hospital. She assisted our daughter and began a teaching program that included working with the nurses, our daughter, and the babies while they were still in the Intermediate ICU at the hospital. After 5 more days everyone came home and Meredith was ale to handle night feedings so our daughter could recover from her C-section. More importantly Meredith taught Julie, her husband, and the rest of the immediate family how to take care of the babies. We learned so very much about how to handle 3 premature babies and to do it in a calm, organized, and structured manner. When Meredith left, after a total of 2 weeks with us, we were able to maintain the atmosphere she had helped us create. The babies are thriving, the family has adjusted well, and we have the comfort level of knowing that if there is a problem or concern Meredith is just an email away. We highly recommend Meredith.

Meredith came to help us (in our small home) when our triplets were 3 ˝ months old. The first day she was in our home she helped to rearrange furniture to make better use of our space and more room for babies’ things. Throughout her short 2 ˝ week stay with us, Meredith gave use countless helpful suggestions. She showed us ways to simplify several different processes such as bath time, formula making and the feeding of three babies at one time.

The way in which Meredith most helped us, though, was in getting the babies onto a schedule and sleeping through the night. This has proven to be the most beneficial help we could have received. Before Meredith arrived, our babies were catnapping throughout the day in their swings or in the Pak ‘n Play but had n real structure to their day (and neither did we!). Now, all napping in done in their cribs and it is much easier to put them down at night.

Our lives are much easier now and we are bale to enjoy our babies even more than before. Daily life has a routine to it and we in control and confident that we can handle anything. Meredith does not impose her opinion. She simply gives suggestions and shows you how to implement them correctly.

We feel so luck to have found Meredith, and we know that she will continue to be a resource for use. She truly cares about the families she helps and leaves a lasting impression on them as well.

Sincerely,

Meredith served as our Baby Nurse for our newborn daughter for the first six weeks of her life. During this time we were able to relax, rest and enjoy our newborn and 16 month old daughter. I had a c-section for the second time and definitely recovered much quicker than the first time with Meredith’s help. If not for her services, our first weeks with our second daughter would have surely been more stressful.

Meredith is very professional, skilled and highly experienced. She was always on-time and stayed late if needed. Her communication about what happened at night when we were sleeping was always thorough and helpful. Her tips about feeding and getting our daughter to sleep at night were extremely valuable.

Meredith was also delight to have in our home. She is trustworthy, professional, caring and confident in her knowledge. I felt completely relaxed knowing she was taking care of my daughter. She truly enjoys her profession and she has a deep, genuine love and knowledge of babies and children.

We highly recommend Meredith to any family!!

multiples baby nurse testimonials
"When Meredith came, I was a mess. My DH and I were sleeping only 4 hours a night, dealing with three preemie infants. The very first day she was here, our house was so quiet that I thought that the babies had been stolen away! Yes, she introduced scheduling to our new family, and taught my kids that sleeping was only done in their cribs. With her guidance, our kids were sleeping through the night within a week. She also taught me how to handle multiples with feeding, playing, etc. Before her first day, I was petrified to be alone with my children. Now, I enjoy our time alone."
